The MEU Donates £5,565 to Greater Manchester Blood Bikes

Our local volunteer blood bike service, Greater Manchester Blood Bikes, made another important visit.

They play a crucial role in transporting vital medical supplies such as blood, plasma, platelets, samples, vaccines, and donor breast milk to hospitals and healthcare facilities, operating tirelessly day and night, including weekends and holidays. This essential service, provided entirely by volunteers, allows the NHS and other medical organisations to allocate their resources efficiently.

We’re pleased to share that our CEO, David Rogers, recently presented a volunteer driver with a donation of £5,565!

We recognise the immense value that Greater Manchester Blood Bikes bring to our community, and we remain committed to assisting them in any way we can
