Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Flow Cytometry Scientist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and execution of flow cytometry assays to support our clinical trials and academic research projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and optimize flow cytometry assays to support clinical research and trial activities.
  • Perform multi-color flow cytometry analysis, including sample preparation, acquisition, and data analysis.
  • Interpret and present complex flow cytometry data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clinical research teams to design experiments and ensure the integrity and quality of flow cytometry data.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot flow cytometry instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in flow cytometry technologies and methodologies.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in flow cytometry techniques and best practices.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with flow cytometry, including multi-color panel design, assay development and validation, sample preparation, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in using flow cytometry software (e.g., FlowJo, FCS Express, CytExpert).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a clinical research or pharmaceutical industry setting is desirable but not essential.
